Make a donation
Your donation will fight lung disease by helping people quit
smoking, funding research, improving indoor and outdoor air
quality, and educating millions about asthma. Your tax-deductible
gift to the American Lung Association goes directly to your
local lung association to make a difference in the lives of
your family, friends, and community.
There are many ways to donate to the lung association:
- Make an online
donation with your credit card now.
Use your credit card to make an online donation now and your
gift goes to work immediately. We use a secure server to ensure
your credit card information is safe.
- Make a memorial donation
in honor of a family member or friend.
A gift donation is a a lovely way to express sympathy for the
loss of a special person. It's also a way to say something special
to a family member, friend or associate, or commemorate happy
occasionsbirthdays, anniversaries, weddings, retirements
or graduations.
- Make a planned gift.
"Planned giving" is giving to charity that is coordinated
with financial and estate planning to serve both philanthropic
and personal needs.
- Donate a car to benefit the Lung Association.
The car you don't need anymore can generate funds for your local
lung association (and a tax deduction for you). Call 1-800-LUNG-USA
to arrange to donate a car to your local association.
Check your old car's "Blue Book" value online at Edmund's.
- Give at your workplace or through an employer-matched
giving.
Many workplaces today offer the opportunity to make a donation
to the lung association, often as a simple and painless payroll
deduction. If your workplace is involved in the Combined Federal
Campaign, the United Way Campaign or a Combined Health Appeal,
please remember to specify the American Lung Association as
the recipient of your support. In addition, many employers will
match your gift to the lung association.
If you'd like to donate by phone, or have any questions about
donating to the Lung Association, just call 1-800-LUNG-USA to
be connected automatically with your local lung association.
